Rona Mac is an established artist from West Wales, crafting music that sits comfortably in the realms of alternative folk, with nods to indie-pop and classic singer-songwriter. Rooted in a deeply DIY ethos, she has built her sound from the ground up—writing, recording, and producing her music in a weathered caravan on the most westerly tip of mainland Wales. Having gigged in various forms for most of her life, Rona stepped into the world of independent artistry with a fierce commitment to making music on her own terms. Learning to manage every part of the process, from songwriting to booking, mixing to publishing, she has carved out a path that is entirely her own. Her music is sentimentally charged and lyrically driven, with guitar and vocals carrying equal weight. Comparisons have been drawn to Adrienne Lenker, Phoebe Bridgers,
Joni Mitchell, Ben Howard, and boygenius—an association she finds both surreal and humbling. Rona’s second album release in 2024 saw her take on a self-booked 20-date tour across the UK and Europe, bringing her intimate yet expansive sound to audiences far and wide. Her music has received A-list rotation and Album of the Year recognition from BBC Radio Wales, with additional airplay on BBC Radio 1 and 6. Features in Wonderland, Clash, and Atwood Magazine have further cemented her reputation as a distinctive voice in the contemporary folk scene. On stage, Rona uses live looping, synths, and additional instrumentation to add texture while keeping the music centered around the song. It’s a performance style that feels deeply human. She has shared stages with the likes of Willy Mason, Billie Marten, Bess Atwell, and Katy J Pearson, always bringing an understated presence that lets the songs speak for themselves. |

Tara Bandito burst onto the scene in 2022. A wrestler’s daughter with a flair for the dramatic, her debut single, Blerr, released through Côsh Records, quickly established her as a rising force. Highlights since include playing LUCfest, Taiwan & Green Man festival, reaching BBC Introducing Bethan Elfyn's top 5 artists and BBC 6 Music’s Huw Stephens' 'artist of the week’. Bandito also featured on God is in the TV Zine’s top 10 artists. In 2023 she released her debut self-titled album, with lead track 'Croeso i Gymru' picked up by Craig Charles on 6 Music. Recording the album in 2021 brought the end of a 14-year chapter of healing, grief and self-discovery following the death of her father. Before pursuing her career as a solo artist, Tara toured with Charlotte Church’s Late Night Pop Dungeon and trained in India as yoga teacher. These experiences shaped a unique artist who combines the Welsh language, English, and Sanskrit with the sounds of sitar, harp, raw autobiographical lyrics, and thumping beats. Described as "a formidable live artist" by Bethan Elfyn (BBC) and "exuding musical charisma from every pore" by DJ Adam Walton, Bandito prides herself on showering her audience with a SHOW. |

Doom & Glitter is a trans-led cabaret band fronted by Cheshire drag king and blues troubadour Mr Brake Down, whose gravel‑toned vocals and theatrical presence have become Fringe favourites following his acclaimed Tom Waits tributes over the last three years. In 2025, he’s expanded the show into a full ensemble: Sophie Siobhán brings sultry versatility on keys, sax, and guitar; Steve Lincoln — a proud cis‑man ally — adds multi‑instrumental flair and leads live percussion; and Siân Peters, the band’s musical director, supplies fresh arrangements, electronics, and AV wizardry. Together, they fuse blues, drag, and experimental cabaret into an electrifying, genre‑bending celebration of queer artistry—equal parts gritty, glittering, and unforgettable. |

Eye is the new project from Jessica Ball of Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard—an evolution into something darker, more intimate, and hauntingly cinematic. A three-piece outfit forging their own path in the realm of dark electro-doom, Eye weaves together heavy textures with moody synths, slow-burning riffs, and Ball’s unmistakably ethereal vocals. Their debut album, "Dark Light", released via New Heavy Sounds, introduces a sonic world where crushing weight meets ambient melancholy. It’s a record that feels like wandering through fog in a neon-lit wasteland—hypnotic, immersive, and deeply emotional. With roots in doom, post-metal, and electronic minimalism, Eye carries the atmosphere of Ball’s previous work into a colder, more introspective direction—otherworldly, yet painfully human. |
